We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Podcast Editor to join our team for “Getting Back Up.” The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a keen ear for audio production. As a Podcast Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw audio recordings into polished, engaging episodes that captivate and inspire our audience.

Responsibilities:
– Edit and mix raw audio recordings, including interviews, voiceovers, and other audio elements.
– Ensure high-quality sound production, including noise reduction, equalization, and mastering.
– Add intro/outro music, transitions, and sound effects to enhance the listening experience.
– Collaborate with the podcast host and producer to maintain the overall tone and style of the show.
– Manage and organize audio files and project assets.
– Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in podcast production.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a podcast editor or audio producer.
– Proficiency in audio editing software such as Adobe Audition, Audacity, Pro Tools, or similar.
– Strong understanding of audio production techniques, including editing, mixing, and mastering.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Excellent communication and organizational skills.
– Attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
– Creative mindset with the ability to enhance storytelling through audio.

Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with remote recording tools and techniques.
