Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and talented Remote Podcast Manager to transform our raw video content into polished, compelling podcast episodes across various platforms like Spotify, YouTube, and more. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skills to manage all stages of podcast production, from video editing to episode distribution, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Video to Podcast Transformation:
– Convert full raw videos into engaging audio and video podcast episodes.
– Ensure the final product is polished, including fixing any issues due to internet disruptions or other technical glitches.
Content Curation and Editing:
– Select and create compelling “hooks” for pre-intro segments from raw video content.
.- Must have incredible attention to detail – sometimes things need to be edited out, internet goes bad, etc.
Show Notes and Timestamps:
– Develop clear and engaging show notes and timestamps for each episode tailored to the specifics of each platform.
Clip Creation and Thumbnail Design:
– Extract and create short-form clips from each episode (bonus points if you can do “Hormozi/Magin” style short form edits in post production but we can outsource this as necessary – what we need for this piece is someone who understands “Wow that was a great line – we need to clip that!” so we can push it to our other editors if necessary).
– Design captivating thumbnails for YouTube episodes.
Distribution and Promotion:
– Manage the distribution of episodes across major platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, and others.
Quality Assurance:
– Maintain an incredible attention to detail throughout the editing and production process to ensure a high-quality end product.
Continuously monitor and improve the production process based on feedback and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in video and audio editing, podcast production, and content creation.
– Strong graphic design skills with experience in creating thumbnails and visual content.
– Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication skills (English), both verbal and written.
– Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
