Podcast Editor (Audio and Video)

Hey Editors! I’m one of the team members at “Lifeonaire.”

Lifeonaire is a life and business coaching company that helps people make more, work less, and have lives and businesses they love. For almost 4 years, we have been running a weekly podcast called the Lifeonaire Show that features high level experts who come on to share secrets about how they’ve built better businesses and/or better lives. Past guests have shared on a variety of topics from real estate investing, to automation strategies, to relationship advice, to how to build good habits, to how to create a vision for your life, and so much more. We have had over 200 episodes and are slowly growing a larger audience.

Our small team is focusing on other tasks, so we are looking to hand off podcast editing to someone else. The perfect candidate has experience editing podcasts in both audio and video formats. Minor graphic design skills (like in Canva) are a plus.

Another plus would be if the candidate has ideas on how we could improve our podcast. We aren’t sure if we are making the best choices in terms of video, graphics, copy, etc, so it would be a huge plus if our podcast editor has enough experience with podcasts to be able to offer potential changes we could make to stay up to date on what’s working in podcasts today.

We can provide you whatever level of resources you need (ie, we could give you a full SOP on how our current editor edits the podcast plus Adobe templates you can use to edit the show OR we could simply give you the files and let you build what works for you from scratch. We could decide this based on your experience level and your preference.

– The workflow would be the following for each episode and should take about 2-3 hours per week:
– We send you the files and any episode specific directions
– You edit a draft of just audio and send it back to us
– We will listen to it and send you suggested edits, the episode title, and which snippet we’d like for the episode
– You edit a final audio and video draft and a 1.5 minute reel for social media, and send these back to us
– And (potentially) You edit an episode thumbnail (depending on experience) and send these back to us

Compensation would be 600 Php per episode ($10.65). If you have ideas for us to implement that would take more of your time than 2 hours per episode, we can discuss increasing hours and pay accordingly.
