Podcast Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Podcast Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth production and distribution of our podcast episodes. This role requires high-quality audio editing, detailed show notes, accurate transcriptions, and efficient posting to Libsyn. A quick turnaround time of one week per episode is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Audio Editing:
Perform high-quality audio editing to ensure clear and professional sound.
Remove background noise, ums, ahs, and other unwanted sounds.
Add intro/outro music, transitions, and other audio elements as needed.

Show Notes:
Create detailed and engaging show notes for each episode.
Include key takeaways, timestamps, and relevant links.
Ensure show notes are well-organized and formatted for easy reading.

Transcriptions:
Provide accurate and comprehensive transcriptions of each episode.
Ensure transcriptions are well-formatted and easy to read.
Deliver transcriptions promptly for accessibility and reference purposes.

Posting to Libsyn:
Handle the uploading and scheduling of episodes to Libsyn.
Ensure all metadata, descriptions, and tags are correctly filled out.
Monitor and verify successful episode posting.

Turnaround Time:
Manage a turnaround time of one week per episode from recording to publication.
Coordinate with the host to ensure timely receipt of recordings.
Maintain a consistent schedule to ensure regular episode releases.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in podcast production, editing, and management.
Proficiency with audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition).
Strong writing skills for creating engaging and informative show notes.
Excellent attention to detail for accurate transcriptions.
Familiarity with Libsyn or similar podcast hosting platforms.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
A passion for podcasts and an understanding of the podcasting industry.
