Job Description:
Are you a creative and tech-savvy individual with a passion for podcasting and social media? I am looking for a Podcast Editor and Social Media Manager to join my team and help us take my audio and video content to the next level. In this role, you’ll be responsible for editing podcast episodes, creating engaging video clips, managing our social media presence, writing show notes, adding timestamps, and more.
Responsibilities:
Audio and Video Editing:
Edit podcast episodes to ensure audio clarity and quality.
Create engaging video clips from podcast content for promotional purposes.
Add music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the overall production.
Publishing and Distribution:
Prepare and upload edited episodes to our podcast hosting platform (e.g., Libsyn).
[Possibly] Upload video to Youtube
Schedule episode releases and manage the podcast feed.
Ensure episodes are published on various podcast directories, including Spotify.
Social Media Management:
Develop and execute a social media strategy to promote podcast episodes.
Create and schedule social media posts to engage with our audience.
Monitor comments and messages, and respond to listener interactions.
Content Promotion:
Use relevant hashtags and promotional tools
Collaborate with the podcast host to create promotional materials.
Share podcast episodes, video clips, and relevant content on social media platforms.
Explore opportunities for cross-promotion with other podcasters or influencers.
Show Notes and Timestamps:
Write detailed show notes for each episode, including key takeaways, highlights, and links to resources mentioned.
Add timestamps to episodes, allowing listeners to easily navigate and find specific content within episodes.
Monetization (Bonus):
Experience with platforms like Patreon for podcast monetization is a bonus, though not mandatory.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in audio and video editing.
Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms (e.g., Libsyn).
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Strong social media management skills and knowledge of social media best practices.
Excellent writing skills for creating engaging show notes and social media content.
Familiarity with AI such as ChatGPT to write and format show notes
Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Her work aims to strengthen families by focusing on psycho-education, personal development, relationship skills training and mindfulness. Her practical, research-based advice combines spiritual values with intentional action.
Counselling and Psychotherapy: Marzia serves her clients through her private practice based in Toronto, Ontario. She also provides online counselling and consultancy to an international client base. The online counselling experience is modelled, as closely as possible, to in-person counselling and is governed by the same professional ethics and standards of practice.
Workshops, seminars and webinars: Marzia runs workshops on various parenting and relationship topics, both in person and through webinars. Workshop participants find her to be an inspiring, compassionate presenter who is skilled at creating a safe environment for participants.
Writing and publishing: Marzia is the author of Parenting in the Age of Facebook (Rupa Publications, 2016).
She publishes regularly via print, blogs, podcasts and online courses on marriage, parenting, family relationships and self development.
