Podcast Producer/Assistant

Bare Cremation is a technology company reinventing the funeral industry.

At our core – we are a customer service business that provides end-of-life services to clients in Australia. We have a fantastic team based in the Philippines that is growing rapidly. We are excited to offer an opportunity for a talented Podcast Producer/Assistant to join our team. This role is integral to the production of our two podcast series, offering support in various stages of production from planning to post-production. The ideal candidate is someone who is not only passionate about podcasting but also thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
– Guest Administration: manage guest logistics, including scheduling (most will be virtual), communication, and briefing.
– Technology Setup: handle the technical aspects of podcast recording, including support where necessary in coaching guests through the setup phase.
– Guest Research: conduct in-depth research on guests to provide hosts with comprehensive background information. This includes compiling past work, key achievements, and relevant discussion topics.
– Question Suggestions: collaborate with the host to develop engaging and thought-provoking questions that align with the podcast’s theme and objectives.
– Post-Show Content Creation: work on post-production tasks such as editing, creating show notes, and developing promotional content for social media and other platforms.

– Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Desirable Experiences:
– At least 3 years of experience in podcast production, media, or a related field.
– A degree in Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related discipline.
– Experience in digital marketing or content creation is a plus.
– Strong eye for quality content, and creativity in creating many forms of content from a single source
– A proactive and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
