Crate Media is a podcast agency that helps brands share their stories. Both Fortune 500 companies and passionate individuals rely on our industry expertise and agile production to turn an idea into a professional, marketable show.
Crate is seeking a virtual assistant to provide quality assurance for all final podcast deliverables published each week. The QA Expert will listen through final podcast episodes, watch final podcast videos and video clips, review episode titles and descriptions, review episode artwork, cross-reference the client’s ads sheet to ensure the correct sponsors and advertisements were used, and cross-reference written client requests to ensure revisions have been made, all before an episode’s release. After release, the QA Expert will locate the episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube, to ensure there were no glitches or delays with the public release of the episode.
Passion for the podcast industry is a must; the ideal candidate listens to podcasts regularly, follows their favorite shows on social media, and watches podcasts on YouTube. But, prior experience editing audio/video or writing/producing podcasts is not required.
The commitment at hiring is an estimated 10-15 hours per week to start. Crate continually looks to expand our services, so there is always potential for additional work and an expanded role in the future for the right candidate.
