Podcast/Short-Form Content Editing + Writing Shownotes

20 hr/ per week ($280) – *This position can grow into full-time

I create and produce a variety of podcasts (most of them include video). I expect all editing to be done in Adobe Premiere Pro (MUST BE PROFICIENT TO APPLY), but any experience in Adobe Audition is an added bonus.

I have a variety of audio/video templates and presets, so the major focus of the projects would be in writing out timestamps and show notes from each episode. That means English proficiency is a must.

Overview of Tasks:
– Take raw footage and graphics and create a seamless video podcast episode (i.e., edit down any “um’s” and filler speech)

– Cut out the least important content to fit the required time lengths for each episode

– Basic audio editing

– Create a “show notes” Google Doc for each episode [AFTER COMPLETING THE EDIT] that includes:
***Timestamps of when each new question was asked
***3-4 questions that get answered within the episode
***3-4 “60-second or less” clips that can be turned into short-form content
***3-5 Major themes/keywords that reflect the episode’s content

– Take the “60-second or less” short-form clips and create vertical form content with graphics overlaid (*I can walk you through this – it’s very simple).

– [BONUS] Create thumbnails for 1 of the podcasts to be used for YouTube and other social media

Required Skills:
– MUST BE proficient in English and able to grasp what makes “engaging” content
– MUST BE proficient in Premiere Pro (including its basic audio editing features)
– MUST BE able to mimic the style of previous episode edits
– MUST BE able to work under deadlines
– MUST BE organized in sending documents/video files (using “WeTransfer”)

*Salary includes the cost of Adobe Premiere Pro (which is a required purchase).
