Podcast Virtual Assistant –

I have a popular podcast for e-commerce business owners. The podcast is for small business owners, handmade businesses and other product-based business owners. I’m a Shopify Expert and web designer, and I teach other business owners how to use Shopify. I’ve been in business almost 8 years and have been podcasting for more than 3 years. The podcast has almost 100,000 total downloads, and approximately 500-1000 weekly listeners.

I am looking for a virtual assistant to help edit, manage, and promote the podcast. We have weekly episodes, sometimes with a guest expert or sometimes it’s an episode with just me. I currently only use the audio files for the podcast, although future projects may include video.

We publish once per week. Each episode would need the following tasks.

1- Edit the audio files to remove filler words, mistakes, and balance the sound quality. (Some episodes will have two speakers, some will have only one). Currently, this is done in Descript.
2- Create and edit show notes, blog post, social media posts, and newsletter content for the episode using Marketing Magic AI tool.
3- Create blog graphics and social media graphics in Canva (based on a template).
4- Upload and schedule edited audio to Buzzsprout.
5- Publish and schedule blog posts to Shopify with graphics.
6- Add all content to Content Bank database.

Additionally, in the future I’d also like to send videos that would need to be edited for the courses I teach.

Position Requirements:
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Past experience editing audio with multiple speakers, preferably using Descript.
Work 5-6 hours per week (may vary each week), opportunity for growth in hours and wage.
Be available for quick turnaround. Work on your own hours. Ideally, I would assign work during the afternoon/evening Pacific Time and it would be completed 1-2 days.
Have a fast turnaround time for tasks.
Have reliable internet connection and computer.
Check in daily, both before you start your work and at the end of your assignments each day. Track your time spent on projects.
