Podcast Video Editor

Hi there!

We are a small online coaching business looking for an experienced part-time PODCAST VIDEO EDITOR to help us grow by editing our bi-weekly podcast episodes with excellence.

There is potential for growth as we work in the coming months to expand our weekly content rhythm to create additional short-form video assets for social media.

The ideal candidate will be able to work remotely and have experience podcast editing, as well as using Adobe Premiere Pro and AI video editing software (like Descript or Click to view)

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Edit the weekly in-person Interview podcast episode we record and prepare the full length audio and video assets for distribution on YouTube and our audio Podcast hosting platform (3 cameras are recorded for all in-person interviews so there is a lot of footage to cut up)
• Edit the weekly solo podcast episode we record and prepare the full length audio and video assets for distribution (1 camera is recorded)
• Create a ~60 second eye-catching, engaging teaser video for each podcast episode in horizontal format for Facebook.

Skills Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience editing a video podcast
• 3+ years’ experience creating short form video content
• 3+ years’ experience working as a virtual assistant for a US based company
• Experience using Click to view (or similar task management software like Asana or ClickUp.)

This is a part-time position and it’s a new role within our company. You’ll help build the job description as we go. We expect that to start, you’ll complete a set of tasks that may take around 10 hours per week with the potential to grow as the business grows.

While we are based in the Mountain and Pacific time zones in the USA, it isn’t necessary for you to complete the work during those hours however you may occasionally need to meet via Zoom at a time that works for your and our time zone.
