Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Podcast & Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing our podcast episodes and creating 4-5 engaging video clips per episode. As we shift to a video-first approach, the editor will play a crucial role in posting full episodes to YouTube and improving the quality and style of our video content that we share on social media.

Responsibilities:

* Edit audio recordings for our podcast episodes to ensure high-quality sound and seamless transitions.
* Create 4-5 engaging video clips per episode, capturing the most compelling moments to share on social media and other platforms.
* Edit full podcast episodes for YouTube, ensuring a polished and professional presentation.
* Collaborate with the host and production team to maintain a consistent style and tone in all video content.
* Manage and organize media files, ensuring easy access and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a podcast editor or similar role, with a portfolio of edited podcasts and video clips.
* Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Descript, Audacity, etc.) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, etc).
* Strong understanding of sound design, audio mixing, and mastering techniques.
* Experience with YouTube content creation and video optimization.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
