We are looking for an organized, creative, and Pokémon-loving Marketing Operations Specialist to grow our audience of card collectors, optimize our marketing processes, and tell our story in the most effective way possible. In this role you’ll be working directly with our marketing team and will take ownership of how new cards and collections get introduced to our audience via different digital marketing channels.
The ideal candidate will have a never-ending list of ideas for creating, reworking, and reimagining the various digital assets that we use to promote and create excitement around the cards and collections that we offer in our online auctions. We combine forces with some of the most influential creators and sellers in the Pokémon and other collectibles space to curate our products, so this candidate’s main focus would be to find new and interesting ways to tell our story and spark continued growth of our already thriving community of rare Pokémon and other card collectors.
What you’ll be doing:
– Developing and optimizing the current processes around creating the various digital assets that support and promote our online auctions.
– Partnering with marketing stakeholders to create and support effective social media campaigns, as well as newsletters and other digital marketing assets.
– Independently producing, editing, and remixing high quality, engaging, original content that can be used cross-platform.
– Measuring, reporting, and analyzing the performance of campaigns across channels and translating findings into actionable, data-driven recommendations in order to improve future performance.
– Engaging with and building our collector community through one-on-one as well as one-to-many conversations.

What you’ll need to be successful:
– You have a native-level fluency in both written and verbal English and a deep love and understanding of the world of trading cards, such as Pokémon.
– You have 3+ years in a Social Media Manager or other marketing role as well as experience working directly with a marketing team in the US.
– You are great at both the comms side of marketing / social media (creating content calendars, working directly with clients, creating presentations for feedback), but you can also create, remix, and repurpose marketing assets easily and confidently on your own.
– You know the difference of what will work on TikTok vs. Instagram and also how to make videos and photos stand out so they’re getting people’s attention. You’re also able to create and remix these types of digital assets independently, all while optimizing them specifically for where they will be posted.
– You’re a builder and a storyteller who can drive engagement with an audience in a genuine way that builds trust and loyalty to our story and brand.
– You have lots of experience creating and managing newsletters in an Email Management Platform, such as Mailchimp, Braze, ActiveCampaign, etc. You could basically create a new campaign with your eyes closed if you really needed to.
– You have a high level of proficiency in Google Sheets and project management software such as Asana, Notion, Trello, etc.
– You have the ability (and actually prefer) to multitask and prioritize your daily tasks in a fast-paced environment while still having fun and being part of a team who doesn’t take themselves too seriously.
