About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, and business intelligence, and a proven track record of developing user-friendly visual reports and interactive dashboards. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work on multiple priorities with a positive attitude. As a Power BI Expert, you will play a critical role in our data analytics and business intelligence efforts, contributing to the success of our team and the organization as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, design, and maintain complex and user-friendly visual reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
Create and manage Power BI dataflows, web apps, on-premise and personal gateways, and workspaces.
Utilize M Query and DAX for advanced data modeling and transformations.
Collaborate closely with business users to gather functional and technical requirements, ensuring that BI solutions meet their needs.
Provide hypercare to customers during every production release to ensure smooth transitions and issue resolution.
Monitor ETL jobs and develop efficient ETL scripts and jobs using SQL, SSIS, and other tools.
Utilize data lakes such as Redshift and Hive (Hadoop) to load data into Power BI.
Leverage additional BI tools like Qlik, Looker Studio, Spotfire, and Microstrategy as needed.
Maintain and improve data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in data engineering and BI development.
Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, M Query, DAX, and Tabular Editor for Power BI.
Experience with Power Automate, MS 365, and various BI tools such as Qlik, Looker Studio, Spotfire, and Microstrategy.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Redshift, and Hadoop Ecosystem (Hive, SQOOP, Yarn, HDFS, Ambari).
Experience with ETL tools and processes, particularly SSIS.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Trello.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Highly organized, dependable, and attentive to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a fast-paced environment, such as at Accenture Inc. or similar companies.
Proven track record of developing and deploying BI solutions that drive business success.
A proactive learner with a hunger for new knowledge and experiences.
