Power BI Model Developer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Power BI Model Developer to assist in the design, creation, and optimization of a Power BI Model for our business operations concerning arrest related data and court case dispositions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI development, data visualization, optimization, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with our team to understand the project requirements and business objectives.
Given a flat wide table of clean data, design and build an efficient Power BI data model centered around key dates related to the arrest.
Develop compelling visuals and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
Optimize performance of the Power BI reports and dashboards.
Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the overall data visualization strategy.
Ensure the security and integrity of the data within the Power BI reports.
Required Qualifications:

Proven experience with Microsoft Power BI and DAX.
Comfortable with basic ETL / ELT functions
Strong understanding of data visualization best practices.
Ability to handle complex datasets and transform them into insightful reports.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English is a must.
Experience in working with arrest data and court dispositions will be an added advantage.

This will be an opportunity to discuss your experience, You must have a stable internet connection and are available for the specified interview time. Fluency in English and effective communication will be assessed during this stage.

Additional Notes: This position is initially project-based “gig” but holds the potential to expand into full-time work based on performance and company needs.
