Job Overview: PPC Specialist
As a PPC (Pay-Per-Click) Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to develop, execute, and optimize PPC campaigns across various digital advertising platforms, focusing on Amazon Marketplace and Walmart Marketplace. You will play a crucial role in driving targeted traffic, generating leads, and maximizing conversions for our organization & clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of PPC Data Analysis and PPC campaigns, including keyword research & analytics, campaign setup, ad creation, bid management, budget allocation, and performance analysis. Your goal will be to ensure the highest possible return on investment (ROI) for every advertising dollar spent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Campaign Strategy and Management:
• Learn our company’s ad strategy and execute it across multiple brands.
• Perform campaign clean-up projects on Amazon Seller Central
• Optimize campaign performance
• Create and maintain ad campaigns in Amazon Seller Central & Walmart seller central
• Implement and optimizing PPC campaigns on the amazon platform to drive targeted traffic, increase conversions and maximize ROI
• Implement A/B testing and other optimization strategies to improve campaign performance
• Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value, relevant keywords and phrases.
• Execute our comprehensive PPC campaign strategies aligned with business objectives and target audience.
• Create and optimize PPC campaigns across multiple platforms, primarily on Amazon and secondarily on Walmart, Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media advertising networks.
• Monitor campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to improve ad performance and maximize ROI.
• Continuously analyze and refine campaign settings, ad copies, landing pages, and bidding strategies to achieve campaign goals.
2. Bid Management and Budget Allocation:
• Monitor keyword bids, adjust bidding strategies, and optimize budget allocation to achieve campaign objectives.
• Implement bid adjustments as directed
• Track and manage advertising budgets to ensure efficient spending and maximize ROI.
3. Performance Analysis and Reporting:
• Utilize analytics platforms and tracking tools to measure and analyze campaign performance.
• Generate regular reports on key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement to increase campaign effectiveness.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging PPC techniques.
• Learning proficiency in data mining tools to perform data updates, tracking and analysis or keywords, page rank and competitor trends
• Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify high-performing keywords
• Run keyword reports and data analytic reports
• Create reports on key success metrics
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including click-through rates (CTR), cost per click (CPC), conversion rates, TACOS (total ACOS) and return on ad spend (ROAS)
4. Critical Thinking & Insight
• Provide regular reports and analysis on campaign performance, highlighting key insights and recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with the marketing to align PPC campaigns with overall marketing objectives and strategies
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and develop effective strategies to outperform competitors
5. Executive Support: Assist CEO with client management and client support as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, advertising, business, economics, finance or a related field.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset and be proficient in Amazon campaign management tools.
• Proven experience managing PPC campaigns, preferably in a fast-paced digital marketing agency or in-house marketing team.
• Proficient in Amazon PPC campaign management tools and data analytics tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of keyword research tools, bid management software, and web analytics tools.
• Proficiency in campaign management tools and data analytics tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent understanding of keyword research, campaign optimization, and bid management strategies
• Ability to manage multiple brand accounts
• Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and campaign optimization techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to be highly organized & efficient to proactively hit deadlines and balance workload. In subject line of application, include the phrase “slam dunk hire”

• Certifications such as Google Ads or Bing Ads certifications are a plus.
