What You Will Do in This Position

– Monitor multiple Facebook groups and interact in those with business partners, clients, and potential clients to engage the group in discussions and to drive people to our website
– Keep track of user interaction, make suggestions for content improvement, and understand hashtags
– Build a solid network by communicating through emails and using social media with painting industry professionals.
– Promote interaction by posting regularly, leaving comments, and concentrating on gaining new followers
– Joining/Monitoring relevant groups/forums to get insights from clients
– Include the keyword ‘hibiscus’ in subject line of job application so I know you read this
– Managing comments and direct messages on Social Media channels
– Syndicating/Posting Videos across different channels
– Identify and apply social media KPIs by regularly evaluating client metrics for optimization.
– Assess each social media campaign’s effectiveness.
– Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
– Please note that this is not a content creation position. You will work with our content creator, but you will be more focused on Facebook group moderation and interactions.

Basic Requirements

– Proficiency in using hashtags and major social media platforms is a requirement.
– Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management or PR with a strong emphasis on social media is required (or equivalent role).
– Perfect English grammar and spelling are mandatory.
– High school diploma is a must. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
– Availability to work from 9AM to 6PM EST with a one-hour mid-day break.
– Ability to start as soon as possible.
