Print Layout Designer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Print Layout Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in print design, layout for magazines and books, and proficiency in creating compelling presentations using PowerPoint. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of typography, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and layout high-quality print materials including magazines, books, brochures, and other publications.
Design and layout of high-quality Infographics design
Develop visually appealing and effective layouts that enhance the readability and aesthetic appeal of content.
Collaborate with editors, writers, and other designers to ensure the design aligns with content and brand guidelines.
Prepare and deliver print-ready files, ensuring all specifications and standards are met.
Create and edit PowerPoint presentations, ensuring they are visually engaging and effectively communicate the intended message.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in design software and techniques.
Provide input and guidance on design best practices and process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. (NOT REQUIRED, but good to have)
Proven experience in print design and layout, specifically for magazines and books.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design software.
Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create professional and impactful presentations.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
Experience with pre-press and print production processes is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with digital publishing and interactive PDFs.
Familiarity with additional software such as Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro for multimedia projects.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS for web-based projects.
5 yrs and above exp using Adobe Illustrator, In Design,

This role is a permanent work-from-home position for a UK-based client with the potential to become full-time.
