– Negotiation and Communication Skills: Strong negotiation skills to secure advantageous terms and proactive communication abilities for maintaining supplier relationships.
– Organizational and Analytical Proficiency: Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, maintaining meticulous records and analyzing cost structures for maximum profitability.
– Tech-Savvy with a Focus on E-commerce Platforms: Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Shopify) and proficiency in utilizing Google Chrome extensions for research and communication purposes.

Primary Responsibilities and Expectations

– Private Label Product Sourcing: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trending and profitable private label products. Develop and maintain a robust supplier network, initiating contact and evaluating potential partnerships.
– Supplier Negotiation and Relationship Management: Engage with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, focusing on cost, quality, and delivery timelines. Foster long-term relationships with suppliers for ongoing product sourcing.
– Profitability Analysis: Review and analyze cost structures and market trends to ensure high profitability of sourced private label products. Adapt sourcing strategies based on performance metrics and market feedback.
– Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of sourcing activities, supplier agreements, and product performance analyses. Update Google Docs files regularly to ensure transparency and access to up-to-date information for the team.
– Team Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the team through regular updates and reports. Organize and participate in video conferencing sessions to discuss sourcing strategies and market insights.
