Job Description

As an Account Manager at Dale Carnegie Training, you will be an essential member of the private sales team, reporting directly to the Director of Private Sales. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and nurture relationships with existing private clients, and actively seek out new business opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring high client satisfaction and driving revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and repeat business. This position demands a proactive and customer-focused individual who possesses excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.??

Responsibilities:?

Client Relationship Management:?

– Cultivate strong relationships with existing private clients, serving as their primary point of contact.?
– Proactively engage with clients to understand their evolving needs, challenges, and objectives.?
– Demonstrate a deep understanding of Dale Carnegie Training’s offerings and how they can address clients’ unique requirements.?

Account Growth and Upselling:?
– Core Value (Fire in the Belly):?Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional training programs and actively seeking out new business opportunities, showing a “fire in the belly” attitude to drive revenue growth.?
– Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional training programs and services to existing clients.?
– Collaborate with the Director of Private Sales and the training delivery team to tailor solutions that align with clients’ ongoing development needs.?
– Conduct market research to identify and target potential outbound clients.
– Create and execute effective outbound sales strategies to generate new leads and prospects.

Client Support and Issue Resolution:?

– Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, providing exceptional customer support throughout the engagement lifecycle.?

Sales Reporting and Data Analysis:?

– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.?
– Generate regular sales reports and analytics for the Director of Private Sales, providing insights into account performance and growth opportunities.?

Requirements:?
– Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in B2B account management, preferably in the corporate training or professional development industry.?
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a strong rapport with clients.?
– Sales-driven mindset with a focus on client satisfaction and revenue growth.?
– Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.?
– Proficiency in using Salesforce to track client interactions and sales activities.?
– Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced sales environment.?
