Since 2006, Zebulun Containers (ZBL) has been providing trusted supply chain solutions for customers across a wide range of industries. We offer new and pre-owned containers for sale and lease across more than 20 locations worldwide, and also provide one-way leasing services across Europe and Asia that helps our customers save time and money. To further our growth in key markets, we are actively looking for candidates to join our team.

To further our growth in key markets, we are actively looking for candidates to be our Purchasing Executive (Remote).

As Purchasing Executive (Remote), you will be responsible for all procurement and purchasing activities, and supporting the sales and leasing team. You will be working independently, involved in day-to-day sales & procurement activities, establishing and maintaining vendor relationships, and other administrative tasks. You will report directly to the CEO.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

PURCHASING DUTIES

– Research potential vendors globally
– Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
– Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
– Track orders and ensure timely delivery
– Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
– Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
– Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
– Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
– Coordinate with sales & leasing staff to ensure adequate equipment in different locations globally

CUSTOMER SERVICE/GENERAL DUTIES
– Respond to colleagues’ queries, follow-up with vendors post-sale if necessary
– Coordinate with & advise colleagues on equipment repositioning
– Any other duties that may be requested of you, from time to time
