We are a leading provider of logistics automation in Europe. As a prominent player in our industry, we are expanding our team to include a skilled Remote Procurement Expert. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement operations.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Expert to manage and optimize our procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Dynamics 365 Business Central and possess in-depth knowledge of Job Cards, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Purchase Orders. This position requires strategic engagement in supplier communications and comprehensive oversight to ensure that our procurement standards are not only met but exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

– Utilize Dynamics 365 Business Central to manage and optimize procurement processes, including creating and maintaining Job Cards, BOMs, and Purchase Orders.
– Strategically engage with suppliers to negotiate terms, confirm orders, track shipments, and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
– Maintain accurate and comprehensive procurement records and documentation.
– Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and procurement standards.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory levels meet operational and strategic requirements.
– Lead cost-saving and process optimization initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency.
– Provide detailed and regular updates on order status and proactively resolve any procurement-related issues.

Qualifications:

– Extensive experience in procurement, particularly in a remote setting.
– Expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a deep understanding of Job Cards, BOMs, and Purchase Order management.
– Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex tasks efficiently.
– Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail.
– A proactive approach to problem-solving and exceptional negotiation skills.
– Advanced education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
