We are an e-commerce store specializing in the event party industry, catering to a diverse range of occasions including weddings, birthdays, and trade shows. Operating as a dynamic and rapidly expanding company, we serve both B2B and B2C clients, offering a curated selection of trendy products. The Procurement/Logistic Specialist plays a pivotal role in our operations, undertaking a range of responsibilities including procurement tasks, logistics management, vendor relationship maintenance, and various administrative duties. Their efforts are crucial in ensuring the seamless functioning of our procurement function. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Assist in creating, reviewing, and processing purchase orders.
-Monitor order status, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
-Organizing and coordinating the shipping agents to select carriers, negotiating rates, and arranging schedules.
-Maintain regular communication and maintain good relationships with suppliers/vendors and identify potential new ones
-Negotiate pricing with vendors and shipping agents for cost-saving opportunities.
-Monitor and maintain inventory levels.
-Coordinate with suppliers to manage stock levels & reordering as well as quantity & timing of deliveries
-Coordinate with Quality Control/Inspection or Product Manager team to ensure vendors meet quality and packaging of received products meet or exceed expectations
-Continue enhancing quality & packaging with vendors.
-Address any discrepancies or issues with received goods promptly.
-Ensure proper documentation and compliance with shipping regulations.
-Research potential suppliers and products to identify cost-effective options.
-Ensure the procurement of quality goods and services at competitive prices
-Market Insight: Constantly conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify new product opportunities, trends, and customer needs to keep ahead of the curve.

Qualifications:

-A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
-At least 5 years experience in the same role
-Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain concepts.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
