Hours: Full-Time (40 hours/week), EST

Job Description:
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth procurement of home furnishings and operational replacements. Your role will focus on managing purchase orders, coordinating logistics, and maintaining project timelines to support our dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Procurement: Actively source and procure all home furnishings and replacements for operational homes, ensuring high quality and cost-efficiency.
Purchase Order Management: Place purchase orders and accurately input data into the ERP system. Monitor orders to ensure they are filled and delivered on time.
Project Management: Manage project timelines by coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Address any delays or issues proactively.
Documentation and Tracking: Update tracking information and liaise with the warehouse to ensure proper receipt of shipments. Prepare and manage relevant documents.
Bid Documentation: Assemble bid documentation and gather quotes to support decision-making processes.
Ad-hoc Responsibilities: Take on additional projects and responsibilities as required by business needs.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist, or a similar role, demonstrating an ability to effectively manage procurement processes.
Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
Experience in furniture logistics and design is advantageous but not essential.
Familiarity with Precoro software is preferred, enhancing operational efficiency.
Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with competing deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a resourceful approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to interact effectively with vendors and team members.
A proactive problem-solver who can identify needs and implement effective solutions promptly.
