Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Sourcing and Selection: Sourcing of new suppliers, evaluating their capabilities, selecting the most suitable ones, and seeking approval from the stakeholders before awarding contracts.

Supplier Management: Identifying, evaluating, and managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Cost Control: Your role involves monitoring procurement costs to maximize cost savings and efficiency.

Compliance: You must ensure that procurement activities adhere to local and international regulations and policies.

Contract Management: Work with stakeholders in contract development, review, and execution, including terms and conditions.

Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders and the operations team to streamline the procurement process and implement best practices.

Market Research: Stay updated on market trends and identify opportunities for implementing cost-effective procurement.

Budgeting: Collaborate with the stakeholders in developing and managing procurement budgets.

Quality Control: Ensure purchased products or services meet quality standards and specifications.

Reporting: Generate reports on procurement activities, costs, and performance metrics for the stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in procurement.

Ethical and Sustainable Procurement: Ensure ethical and sustainable practices in procurement, including responsible sourcing. Report any suspicious activities to the stakeholders.

Emergency Planning: Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and emergencies.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a Product Sourcing Specialist or similar role.
– Fluency or familiarity with Mandarin (Chinese language) is required.
– In-depth knowledge of global markets and supply chain dynamics.
– Strong negotiation and communication skills.
– Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
– Proactive and strong attention to detail.
– Trustworthy.
– Highly self-motivated, with good time management, and well organized.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Excellent verbal and written English to communicate well with suppliers.
– Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and marketplace policies.
– A passport holder.
