Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
– Analyze and categorize customer spend data to provide a clear understanding of expenditure patterns and opportunities for savings.
– Develop and maintain spend cubes to systematically organize spend data across Suppliers, Corporate Business Units, and Spend Categories.
– Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and potential areas for cost reduction.
– Create detailed reports and presentations that provide actionable insights and recommendations at a management consulting level.
– Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to implement recommended changes and monitor their impact on company spending.

Qualifications:
– Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or certified auditor, with strong understanding of US / international accounting principles and financial reporting.
– Proven experience in data analytics with a focus on financial or procurement data.
– Experience in procurement consulting, financial auditing related to procurement, or as an accountant specializing in procurement is highly desirable.
– Experience in creating and managing spend cubes (link) and providing strategic spend analysis a strong plus.
– Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools, including the use of advanced functions and data visualization tools.
– Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable recommendations.
– Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings to management and collaborating across departments.

Requirements:
– Able to work flexible hours to ensure at least 3 hours overlap with NY working hours.
– Must have a suitable remote work environment with a reliable internet connection.
– Provide your own device equipped with necessary software for remote work and data analysis.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
– Strong analytical skills, ease with numbers and strong attention to detail.
