Job Summary:

As the Product and Pricing (PM Reporting) Specialist at Pronto Limited in beautiful Bermuda, you will be a key player in managing product pricing, financial margin reporting, and overall product ownership. We are seeking an ideal candidate with a strong financial, cost reporting, or accounting background to conduct weekly Profit Margin reporting, ensuring adherence to Markup and PM guidelines through precise pricing and discount management.

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing Analysis and Strategy:
Analyze pricing strategies for our products.
Consider factors like production costs, market dynamics, competition, and consumer behavior.
Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability and competitiveness.
Correct and Maintain product pricing.

Profit Margin Analysis:
Evaluate product profit margins by comparing production/procurement costs to revenue generated.
Identify opportunities to enhance margins through cost optimization or price adjustments.

Reporting and Data Analysis:
Generate regular reports to track pricing and procurement performance.
Analyze key performance indicators, sales trends, and profitability metrics.

Recommendations and Optimization:
Provide strategic recommendations to the management team for pricing adjustments and procurement process enhancements.
Contribute to strategies aimed at maximizing profitability.

Competitive Analysis:
Stay informed about the competitive landscape, researching competitor pricing strategies.
Adapt our pricing strategies to maintain or gain a competitive advantage.

Collaboration:
Collaborate with various departments, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align pricing and procurement strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements for the Role:

To excel in the position of Product Purchasing and Pricing (PM Reporting) Specialist at Pronto Limited, candidates should meet the following qualifications and experience criteria:

Educational Background:
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Financial Accounting, or a related field is mandatory.

Professional Experience:
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the following areas:
Global procurement
Cost/pricing accounting
Financial reporting
Purchasing

Proven Track Record:
A successful history of effectively managing product pricing, including adherence to profit margin and markup guidelines, is required.

Market Insights:
An in-depth understanding of global grocery product markets and trends is essential. This knowledge enables informed decision-making regarding procurement and pricing strategies.

Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical skills are vital for data-driven decision-making. The ability to dissect complex information, analyze key performance indicators, and derive actionable insights is highly valued.

Communication Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and for presenting pricing strategies and findings.
