I run the brand “NextClimb” on Amazon. We sell muffin cups, magnetic tape, fly swatters, and many other products. We started selling all of these products because I looked at data in negative customer reviews and improved the products based on customer complaints.

muffin cups – Increased the size and paper thickness for more durability.
magnetic tape – Used thicker magnets increase the strength.
fly swatters – Made the metal handle thicker so that it won’t break.

These changes are very simple but they make a big difference for customers. When customers see that they can buy the “Biggest” muffin cups on Amazon, they want to buy them.

Now I need your help.

With so many products, I can’t keep having all the ideas myself. I need you to creatively analyze our products, read customer reviews and clearly explain product improvement ideas to our product sourcing team.

You should have a good understanding of manufacturing, what is cheap and easy and what is complex and expensive, so that you can propose changes that provide a lot of value compared to investment.

You will guide the product innovation trajectory for all the products you manage. You will report directly to me with your ideas and then write the idea clearly for our sourcing team to order from factories.

Technical design experience, and experience with 3D tools like SketchUp is a massive advantage. It makes ideas easier for others to understand.

In addition to technical skills, you must understand customers. What are they complaining about? What do they want? Then you can apply your technical skills to solve real problems.
