** Position Overview **
As the primary member of our creative and product development team, you will be responsible for:
+ Creating compelling product designs for product development. We will collaborate together to come up with new design ideas. Your creative input will be part of the process. We also use feedback from our sales team and customers to determine our new products.
+ Designing high-quality images for marketing materials and websites. You will create realistic-looking mock-ups that visualize what a photo of the finished product would look like. We often pre-sell the products, which means customers often need images that look like a real product before they are produced.
+ Generating die-line mocks for use in printing and manufacturing processes. You may have to work directly with our manufacturers to ensure that we have the necessary quality in the finished product.
+ Updating and maintaining our printed product catalog. We produce a catalog twice per year and distribute it in physical form and as a PDF link.

** Qualities Needed to be Successful **
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
+ Strong portfolio showcasing product design and graphic artistry skills.
+ Experience in creating and managing visual assets for both digital and print mediums.
+ Attention to detail and ability to adhere to brand guidelines and project requirements.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
+ Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related field preferred, but not required.
+ Integrity, commitment, and a desire to learn and grow. Integrity – you will fit into our team if you can be honest with your fellow teammates. Open communication and honesty are extremely important to me and my team. If you can’t meet a deadline or make a mistake, be upfront about it, we are all human after all. Commitment – we are looking for a long-term relationship and the expectation that this will become full-time. If you are looking for just a few months of work, this is not for you. Desire to learn – we want people who learn new skills, take on new projects and have a strong desire to be always learning and growing both their skills and their personal development.

If all this sounds like you, then please apply with your portfolio showcasing your best work in product design and graphic artistry. I will personally read your application, review your work samples, and answer any questions you may have (yes, the more questions the better!). In your proposal, please mention “Vincent van Gogh” so I know you read the entire job description.

Thank you for your time!
-Richard
