Product Development Assistant

City Beauty is currently looking for an experienced Product Development Assistant to join our team.

You will be responsible for identifying market trends, conducting in-depth research on new product concepts which will be presented to the director, and providing support to the product development and supply chain team for product launches and inventory maintenance.

CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE:

Experience with product development.
Must have interest in the beauty industry.
Work experience with a beauty brand is preferred but not required.
Ability to navigate Google Drive/Docs/Sheets/Etc.
Professional and positive communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities
Ability to work efficiently
High level of attention to detail

Duties:
Support team with product development
Track and analyze competitive landscape/industry developments for context and ideation, and internal data
Partner closely manager to collaborate with the in-house graphics team & supply chain on cross-functional planning
Create Product Development Briefs which outline all pertinent details of initial concept
Support PD Team with Admin Duties, including updating internal docs when changes occur
Provide technical product information to teams as needed
Closely review website’s product information on product pages to ensure accuracy

This is a full-time, remote position and you will work with the product development team.
