Kathy Kuo Home is seeking a Product Development Coordinator who will be accountable for overseeing and orchestrating the development and launch of new products or enhancements to existing ones within the company. The position entails close collaboration with cross-functional teams comprising product managers, engineers, designers, marketing professionals, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of product development initiatives. The Product Development Coordinator will report directly to our VP Creative Director.

Responsibilities:

*Support all aspects of the product development, from ideation and concept development to production and launch, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

*Previous experience in the field of home furnishings and decor, and the ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment, exceptional organizational skills and proficiency with excel/gsheets.

*Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external teams on product development, design, engineering, merchandising, marketing, and coordinate between departments to achieve goals.

*Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify new product opportunities, trends, and customer needs.

*Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, specifications, schedules, data sheets, and progress reports.

*Track project milestones, deliverables, inspiration, samples, and follow-up with vendors to ensure timely completion, of the quality expected, and within budget.

*Facilitate communication and information sharing among team members ensuring everyone is informed about project progress, changes, and challenges.

*Implement quality control processes to ensure products meet defined standards and customer expectations. Coordinate product testing and validation activities.

*Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for optimization, implementing best practices, and sharing lessons learned across projects.

*Photoshoot Production: organize, schedule, coordinate pre and post-production. Work with the creative, ecom, and procurement teams to track and route samples, coordinate with homeowners, manage shot lists and file organization/management, coordinate assets for pre and post production with internal and external teams.

*CGI Production: coordinate/communicate between creative department, marketing, and outside vendors. Manage inspiration, track revisions, timelines, and assets/files.

**Previous experience in the field of home furnishings and decor, and the ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment, exceptional organizational skills and proficiency with excel/gsheets.

Qualifications:.

*Previous experience in product development, project management, or a related role is desired.
*Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously is advantageous.
*Strong understanding of product development processes, including concept ideation, design, prototyping, manufacturing, and launch.
*Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and suppliers.
*Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
*Proficiency in conducting market research, analyzing data, and employing problem-solving skills to acquire valuable insights that can be presented to management for approval
*Ability to interpret customer feedback and translate it into product requirements.
*Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
*Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, specifications, and project deliverables.
*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities or project requirements.
*Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, fostering positive relationships and driving consensus.
