Job Description

Itsumomo LLC is a rapidly growing international ecommerce business that provides its customers worldwide with innovative and high-quality consumer goods products across multiple niches. The company is seeking a Consumer Goods Product Development Manager (NPD) to join its dynamic team and lead the development of new products that align with the company’s vision and customer needs. As a Product Development Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the entire product development process, from conceptualization to launch, while managing cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standard of product outcomes and customer satisfaction. This fully remote role offers an excellent opportunity for a self-driven individual who is passionate about consumer goods and driven by creativity, analytical thinking, and market research.

Responsibilities
– Develop and execute strategic plans for new consumer goods product development (NPD) and launch, aligned with the company’s business goals, customer needs, and market trends.
– Identify and analyze new product opportunities through market research, customer feedback, industry trends, and competitive analysis.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company, including Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, to ensure successful product development and launch.
– Oversee the entire product development process, from ideation to product design, prototyping, testing, and production, while ensuring the highest quality standards and compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
– Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and maintaining project progress.
– Develop pricing and go-to-market strategies for new products, including market positioning, target audience, and promotion strategies.
– Analyze and monitor product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to optimize product portfolio and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields. A Master’s degree is a plus.
– At least 3 years of experience in product development, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
– Proven track record of successfully leading and executing new product development initiatives from ideation to launch.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze market, customer, and product data to drive strategic decisions.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
– Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on deadlines.
– Passionate about innovation and creating exceptional customer experiences.
– Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
– A strong consideration for this role will be given to candidates who have the flexibility to work hours that can accommodate overlap with Asia-based time zones. This is desirable in order to facilitate smooth and efficient collaboration with our international teams.
