Product Lister / Marketing Assistant

Buy It Direct, a leading UK-based e-commerce company is looking for a skilled Product Lister/Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team. As part of the team, you will be responsible for listing multiple products within the Lifestyle business unit, sourcing product information from various locations (e.g, manufacturer websites) and importing new product codes into an information management system. You will also take on other marketing-based tasks such as briefing in content and asset requirements with our in-house design team, completing competitor analysis’, answering customer questions and performing website checks & amends that lead to an improved customer journey on our sites.

We’re seeking someone with excellent communication, time management and organisational skills. You should have an eye for detail, a ‘right-first-time approach’ and experience in a similar product listing role, with the ability to work fast and effectively to meet deadlines.

The ideal applicant would have experience using e-commerce platforms like Shopify and a basic knowledge of outdoor lifestyle products such as BBQs and Hot Tubs.

More about what you’ll be doing:

• Importing & updating product data within an information management system
• Basic photo editing (background removal, converting files and resizing)
• Product content copywriting with and without AI tools
• Accurately following category set-up guides to ensure products are set up right the first time
• Managing direct relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to retrieve additional content or marketing materials
• Communicating updates and flagging potential issues with key stakeholders internally and externally
• Performing web-facing checks and amends to improve the customer journey across multiple e-commerce channels
• Researching product information and keyword data relevant to the lifestyle categories
• Briefing asset requirements with our in-house design, content and CRM teams
• Answering customer questions to provide additional information and aid conversion

You will need access to a laptop or desktop and monitor with a minimum screen resolution of 1280 x 720px or 1366 x 768px (HD ready) to use our systems, as well as full access to the internet.

Hours are UK based (9 am to 5.30 pm)
The monthly salary is an approximate amount based on a 243php hourly rate.
