Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our growing team in designing and manufacturing chalk markers, chalkboards, and chalk art products. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the product line from conceptualization to launch, ensuring the products meet customer needs and exceed sales and profit goals. What problem will you be solving?
– Successful launch and commercialization of new products.
Increased sales and market share within the chalk art products category.
– Improved product profitability through cost-effective product development and pricing strategies.
– Increased customer satisfaction and loyalty as measured through customer surveys and feedback.

Key responsibilities:
– Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences and develop product strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to bring new products to market in a timely and cost-effective manner.
– Manage the product development process, including product design, prototyping, testing, and commercialization.
Develop pricing strategies, create product launches and go-to-market plans, and lead product promotions and advertising initiatives.
– Oversee product packaging design, ensuring it meets customer needs and enhances the product’s market appeal.
– Monitor product performance, analyze sales data, and make recommendations to improve product line profitability.
– Stay current with industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to ensure the product line remains competitive and relevant.

Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
– 5+ years of experience in product development and marketing of consumer products.
– Strong knowledge of the product development process and experience bringing products to market.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
– Proven track record of developing and executing successful product launch plans.
– Ability to think creatively and develop innovative product concepts.
– Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform product decisions.
