About The Position:

At RockyMountainCo., We are a dynamic e-commerce company focused on selling a wide range of products on Amazon. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented team member to join our team. This role will primarily involve conducting product research to identify profitable wholesale products for our Amazon storefront.

Role Overview:

The Product and Inventory Associate role is an individual who will specialize in identifying and evaluating wholesale products for resale on Amazon. This role demands a deep understanding of the inventory buying decision process, wholesale supplier relationships, and Amazon’s marketplace dynamics. The Associate will use a variety of tools and strategies to source products that are both well-selling and profitable, ensuring that inventory aligns with the requirements of our business.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for new vendor research, existing vendor communication, product research, and inventory management of in-stock inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed market analysis to identify and evaluate new product viability
Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies.
Provide comprehensive reports on research findings with clear recommendations for product selections.
Assist in sourcing products from suppliers and coordinate with logistics for purchased inventory.
Keep up-to-date with Amazon’s policies and guidelines to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in e-commerce, specifically in Amazon wholesale product research, is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and product research tools such as Helium 10, Keepa, Revseller, or equivalent
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data effectively
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good English communication skills, both written and verbal

Additional Skills:

Technical Skills: Basic skills in data entry and the ability to use or learn to use inventory management software.
Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively for product ideas and improvements that could differentiate the brand on competitive platforms like Amazon.
Customer Service Experience: Understanding of customer needs and expectations, especially from the perspective of customer reviews and feedback on Amazon.
Legal Knowledge: Basic understanding of the legal aspects related to e-commerce, such as intellectual property rights and import/export regulations.
