Job Description

*Company Description*

We’re three friends who founded our brand, Betterway, in 2019. It’s a bootstrapped and profitable company that is founder-led and focused on sustainability. We can proudly say that we’ve been profitable every year of business. After years of working in corporate jobs we decided to venture out on our own to create a work environment we enjoyed being a part of alongside people we enjoyed spending time with. Up until now we’ve done every job in the company ourselves as we believe the best way to lead is to understand each and every role. After 4 years of growing we’re ready to add members to our team that we can call colleagues for years to come.

*Role Description*

We have plans to expand our product line extensively in 2024, and we’re seeking a dedicated Product Research and Listing Optimization Specialist to take charge of our product catalogue, and oversee its entire life-cycle.

We’re looking for a motivated self-starter who is excited by the dynamic role of managing an Amazon-first brand.

As a Product Researcher, you’ll help us expand our product line by finding and presenting insightful product data to determine the product opportunity in the Amazon marketplace, a differentiation strategy based on competitive research, and its potential profitability for our business, to help us make strategic decisions on planning the product role of Product Research encompasses the entire product life cycle – from gathering and prioritizing customer requirements to defining the product vision.

As a Listing Specialist, you’ll be ensuring the day-to-day health of our growing product catalogue by overseeing the listing’s success through tasks such as researching new product or variation opportunities, performing keyword and competitive research to optimize listings, crafting listing content, implementing marketing strategies, and making sure the listings stay live and issue-free.

Beyond your professional experience, we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and a creative problem-solver. You’re perfect for this role if you’re a self-starter who takes ownership in their work, is a life-long learner, and is always looking for ways to improve processes (work smarter, not harder), not afraid to ask clarifying questions, and excited to present new tools and ideas.
