Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced full-time Product Sourcing Agent who is familiar with the Amazon industry. This position will involve finding new viable products, sourcing the products, communicating with manufacturers during the production process and organizing data to assist in making informed decisions.
As a Product Sourcer you will be entrusted with a vital role in our company. You will be a key member of our team who will be involved with some very important decisions for the company. This position requires an experienced person who has strong negotiation skills and is thoroughly focused on quality and continuous improvements of each product while keeping the customer and our brand center to all of their decision making.
Responsibilities:
-Propose new potential products using a standardized process.
-Research manufacturers to find the highest quality and lowest priced product.
-Analyze products profitability and performance.
-Request samples of approved products to finalize the best manufacturer.
-Place product orders with the vetted manufacturers.
-Manage all new products from sourcing to launch day.
-Communicate directly with manufacturers at each stage of production.
-Track orders until their arrival at Amazon.
-Source at least 2 new products a month.
-Work with manufacturers with any improvement or change requests of a product.
-Report essential data to the launch team about each new product.
This job expects a full-time commitment to our team. You cannot work for other clients or do part-time work on other teams.
Expected Proficiencies:
-Excellent proficiency in English (Both spoken and written).
-Ability to plan and execute strategies independently that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
-Experience with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Amazon FBA businesses.
-Experience with sourcing products on Alibaba and other similar platforms
-Ability to organize data to assist in making informed decisions
-The capability of interfacing with a remote team to coordinate projects and tasks
-Have a flexible schedule so at least 3 hours of their working day align with business hours in Central Standard Time, USA.
-A strong desire to learn new things and continue to learn as things evolve.
-A committed, data-driven, fast learner, team player, and self-motivated mindset.
Salary
New full time hires start off at $600/month USD for an initial two-month probationary period. After the two-month period, performance will be assessed. If performance expectations are met, pay will increase to $700/month USD thereafter. There will continue to be further opportunities for raises or other added benefits based on level of performance.
