Monthly Rate: Php 25,000 – $30,000/mo based on experience

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Product Sourcing Assistant capable of providing product leads for our online arbitrage business using any of the following methods and tools: reverse sourcing, Keepa, Seller Amp, and Tactical Arbitrage. If job candidates can productively source using another tool not listed, it can also be purchased.

THE ROLE

The Product Researcher plays a crucial role in the e-commerce ecosystem. The quality of the work spells the difference between success and failure for the organization.

The main function is to find products from online supplier websites that could be sold through US E-Commerce sites, using various criteria such as profit, sales rank, and return on investment. Once primary duties are fulfilled in the area of Product Sourcing, this role will be asked to help build a wholesale division of Bison Trading Company by identifying suppliers and distributors to create ongoing product sourcing opportunities.

The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

ONLINE ARBITRAGE SOURCING
• Create a Daily Product Sourcing Plan/Strategy
• Search, analyze, and evaluate online suppliers and their product categories/product range, in line with the company’s profit and sales targets as well as budget
• Consider various criteria in searching and choosing products, including competitor data, sales data, market/consumer trends, buying behavior, associated risks, and overall business environment (such as pandemic)
• Create product mix strategy, considering stock levels per peak seasons, special events, and supplier lead time
• Analyze profit performance of products and evaluate profitability trends as well as pricing strategy, using various tools such as Keepa, Seller Amp, Tactical Arbitrage
• Create sourcing databases (Google Sheets or similar) to track products sourced for easier rebuying
• Track and analyze trends on products consumption
• Other related tasks in support of business operations

WHOLESALE SUPPLIER SOURCING
• Identify products being sold on Amazon through 3rd party sellers that could be good targets for wholesale relationships
• Search, analyze, and evaluate online suppliers and their product categories/product range, in line with the company’s profit and sales targets as well as budget
• Identify original supplier of products and document target list in a spreadsheet
• Outreach to wholesalers for introduction using provided script and templates via email
• Pass off communications to Bison Trading Co management for deal negotiation
• Track all communications in spreadsheet

Processor – i5 or higher

• A fast and stable internet connection (at least 5 MBPS) and with a back-up internet (eg pocket wifi)
