Job Description:
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Product Sourcer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, contractors, and subcontractors for our Project Manager. This role requires excellent research skills, strong communication abilities, and a knack for negotiating the best deals.

Key Responsibilities:
Material Sourcing: Identify and source materials required for various projects by researching and shopping from multiple websites, distributors, and suppliers.

Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials.

Price Negotiation: Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible deals.

Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on the latest trends, prices, and availability of materials and services.

Supplier Evaluation: Evaluate potential suppliers and contractors based on quality, reliability, and cost. Ensure all suppliers meet company standards and project requirements.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier evaluations.

Coordination: Work closely with the Project Manager to understand project needs and timelines, ensuring all sourced materials and services align with project goals.

Compliance: Ensure all sourced materials and services comply with relevant regulations and quality standards.

Problem Solving: Address any issues related to supplier performance, material quality, or delivery delays in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or a similar role, preferably in construction or manufacturing.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Research Skills: Strong research skills with the ability to gather information from various sources and synthesize it effectively.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, contractors, and team members.

Problem-Solving: Proactive and resourceful, with strong problem-solving abilities.

Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

Additional Information:

This is a remote position, and the candidate must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office environment.
Occasional travel may be required to visit suppliers or project sites.
