About Us:

Alice Lane Home Collection, an industry leader in home decor and furnishings, is searching for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Product Development Coordinator to join our team and elevate our Brass Monkey brand. We pride ourselves on curating high-quality home decor pieces that set trends and inspire interiors across the US.

Role Overview:

As the Product Development Coordinator, you’ll leverage your experience in sourcing, logistics, and product development to build relationships with domestic and international vendors, source new products, and streamline our supply chain processes. Your discerning eye for quality and passion for home decor will help ensure that we maintain the exceptional standards our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Sourcing & Development:
• Source new home decor products for the Brass Monkey brand using platforms like Alibaba, while also identifying high-end products that align with our aesthetic.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and overseas factories/manufacturers.
• Collaborate with the design team to create and refine product specifications.
2. Supply Chain Management:
• Coordinate the ordering, tracking, and shipment of products from factories/manufacturers to our US warehouse.
• Handle all import logistics, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations.
• Work closely with the warehouse team to receive products into inventory.
3. Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution:
• Inspect samples and production batches to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and resolve product quality issues with factories/manufacturers.
4. Process Improvement:
• Build efficient processes for the Product Development Department.
• Manage and streamline purchase orders and inventory tracking.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in product sourcing using platforms like Alibaba.
• Background in interior design, home decor, or a keen eye for product quality.
• Strong knowledge of US home decor market trends.
• Experience in international shipping logistics.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Amazon is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and WhatsApp.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
