Responsibilities you will have
– Product Discovery: Actively scout and identify innovative and high-quality products that resonate with Ruoth Store’s brand and cater to the evolving needs of our customer base.
– Supplier Partnerships: Establish and nurture relationships with wholesale suppliers, ensuring a unique and diverse product range that matches our quality standards.
– Market Insight: Constantly monitor industry trends, competitor products, and emerging customer preferences to keep Ruoth Store ahead of the curve.
– Negotiations: Use your expertise to negotiate optimal terms, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality assurance, and prompt deliveries.
– Collaboration: Work in tandem with the R&D team, sharing insights and co-strategizing product inclusions and launches.
– Quality Oversight: Take the lead in ensuring all sourced products adhere to Ruoth Store’s quality benchmarks, instituting regular checks and feedback mechanisms with suppliers.
Your Background
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
– Experience: Demonstrated experience in product sourcing, procurement, or a role of similar capacity. Proven track record of producing innovative work in a fast-paced business environment and will be comfortable working with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders.
– Skills: Proficiency in market analysis and a proven ability to spot and capitalize on market trends.
– Negotiation: A track record of fruitful negotiations that benefited previous employers in terms of cost, quality, and delivery times.
– Relationship Builder: Previous experience showcasing your ability to forge and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
– Cultural Fit: A passion for community empowerment and alignment with L.O.J Enterprise’s long-term vision is a must.
– Proficiency in modern product sourcing research tools and others such as Clickup or other project management tools and Google Workspace apps is required.
