Product Sourcing Specialist (Alibaba /1688)

Position Summary:
As a Product Sourcing and Fulfillment Agent, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain operations for our high ticket lighting products. Your role will encompass sourcing products from various platforms, ensuring quality through factory audits and inspections, negotiating favorable terms, and overseeing logistics for efficient delivery. Your expertise in ecommerce platforms like shopify, Alibaba, and 1688 will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

Part 1: Product Sourcing:
Identify and source high-quality lighting products from a variety of platforms, including Alibaba, and 1688.
Build and maintain relationships with trusted suppliers to secure a diverse product range.
Continuously explore new sourcing opportunities to expand our product catalog.
Conduct thorough factory audits to evaluate suppliers’ capabilities, quality standards, and compliance.
Price Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure competitive and cost-effective agreements.
Work to optimize procurement costs while maintaining product quality.

Part 2: Order Processing & After-sales service
Efficiently process and manage product orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
Conduct inspections at various stages of the supply chain to maintain product excellence.
Provide excellent after-sale service to address customer inquiries, and issues promptly.
Collaborate with our ecommerce team to meet customer demand and expectations.

Part 3:
Logistics:
Negotiate with existing or new logistics providers Provide 5-8 days shipping to US through UPS, DHL, Fedex or other similar providers

Part 4 After Sale Service:
Provide excellent after-sale service to address customer inquiries, and issues promptly.
Collaborate with our customer support team to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in product sourcing and procurement, specifically in the lighting industry.
Network of lighting product suppliers and manufacturers in China.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in Chinese and English (written and spoken).
Knowledge of ecommerce platforms, including Shopify, Alibaba, and 1688.

Detail-oriented with a focus on product quality.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
