Job Summary: As a Video Editor, you’ll have a crucial role in bringing our projects to life through your exceptional editing abilities. Your creativity and meticulous attention to detail will be pivotal in shaping compelling videos that align with our clients’ objectives and effectively convey their messages.
Responsibilities:
1. Edit raw footage to create visually appealing, coherent, and engaging video content.
2. Employ creative video editing techniques, including transitions, effects, and animations, to enrich storytelling and visual allure.
3. Trim and organize footage to produce seamless, polished videos that maintain a steady flow and rhythm.
4. Elevate video and audio quality, perform color grading, and enhance overall visual aesthetics to achieve the desired style. Incorporate text, music and sound effects to complement the visuals and enhance the overall viewing experience.
5. Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and software advancements in video editing and motion graphics.
6. Manage project files and adhere to organizational standards to ensure smooth workflows and efficient collaboration.
7. Adapt to feedback and make necessary revisions to meet project goals and exceed client expectations.
8. Handle multiple projects concurrently, effectively managing time and priorities to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
1. Demonstrated work experience as a Video Editor, showcasing a strong portfolio with a diverse range of video editing projects.
2. Proficiency in video editing software : Adobe Premiere Pro or Davinci since we want to access every files you’ll work with
3. A solid grasp of video production principles, including composition, pacing, and storytelling techniques.
4. Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
5. Keen attention to detail and a discerning eye for visual aesthetics.
6. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines while upholding quality standards.
7. A genuine passion for video editing, a commitment to staying current with industry trends, and a willingness to continuously enhance your skills.
To start together, we have an immediate opportunity for you to demonstrate your skills on a trial basis. Our client in the construction industry aims to showcase their expertise to other businesses in a 1-5min video. We have 30 minutes of high-quality footage captured with both a professional camera and a drone, totaling 80 GB in size. This necessitates a powerful computer to maintain video quality while ensuring speedy editing.
The project involves following a predetermined script, incorporating text overlays, and selecting an appropriate background soundtrack. The end result should be a polished, highly corporate video that exudes professionalism and encourages collaboration with the client.
We insist on using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, enabling access to all project files at any time. This ensures that we have the complete editing package at our disposal for potential future modifications.
