JOB OVERVIEW
You’ll be responsible for recurring weekly and monthly accounting processes. Serving both the business and the owner directly with her personal finances. A high degree of confidential and discretion is a must, as this role has sensitive information. This role will focus on month-end close, payroll prep, reporting, job costing, and supportive activities.

You will be the key to ensuring clean financials and partnering to develop our team’s accounting and finance infrastructure. (You will work with the Executive Assistant and Owner directly. There will be no cross communication with other team members due to the sensitive nature of information.)

Main Responsibilities:
• Maintaining high quality accounting work
• Managing month close process ensuring all client bills and project costs are posted.
• Managing project financial closeout
• Payroll preparation for Philippine & USA team
• Gsheet/Excel spreadsheet creation to support reporting
• Deliver reporting on-time
• Process personal finances and report against budget

Products used: QuickBooks Online, ClickUp, Tiller & Gsheet.

PAY
$5.00 – $6.00 per/hr USD. This is a part-time WFH. 10-15 hours per/week

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
– Honest

– Fluent in English (verbal and written skills)
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
– At least 2 years of experience in the role
– Excellent knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP)
– Able to perform cost analysis procedures
– Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
– Familiarity working in Quickbooks Online
– Strong proficiency with financial systems applications and MS Office, specifically Excel
– Type 50 WPM

Preferred:
– Experience with ClickUp

Work Environment: Be able to work privately (you’re accessing confidential financial information) during business hours. You are also working on a virtual team! You will have support when needed your local time.

WORKING HOURS
Part-time position WFH, 10-15 hours per/week, flexible hours, NOT graveyard. Client US Pacific Time (May be required to meet 1 hour per/week – Flexible)
