Professional Fitness Video Editor

We are currently seeking a talented and creative Fitness Video Editor for an upcoming fitness program launch for Q1 2024. We are a dynamic and rapidly growing health and wellness company dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve their health and fitness goals. This role will be focused on video editing raw already recorded video files shot from different angles and strategically placed into an easy-to-follow fitness program.

Key Responsibilities:
Edit and enhance fitness videos, ensuring a high level of creativity and attention to detail.
Ability to edit and grade RAW footage
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Incorporate music, graphics, and other elements to enhance video quality and viewer experience.
Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, workout techniques, and video editing styles within the fitness industry.
Apply knowledge of fitness terminology, form, and pacing to ensure accurate representation in edited videos.
Source relevant footage and music from stock library, and internal content libraries.
Work closely with the content creation team, including fitness instructors, to understand the vision and goals for each video.
Conduct thorough reviews of edited videos to ensure they meet the company’s standards for quality, accuracy, and creativity.
Work within project schedules and complete as required.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of video editing experience.
Proven experience in fitness-related projects is a REQUIREMENT.
A bachelor’s degree in film, video production, or a related field is preferred.
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut)
Strong ability to meet deadlines.
Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and execute work while managing multiple tasks.
Ability to collaborate with the marketing team to produce materials that comply with all industry-related requirements and regulations.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must have stable power and 50mbps internet connection for the day when working from home/office.
