Editor Application (200k+ Youtube Channel)
Seeking a talented and creative editor for Kize’s channel (/kizebae), a YouTube channel with over 200,000 subscribers. The channel showcases on challenge-based content, blending storytelling with a comedic twist and high-energy motion graphics. Looking for an individual who can not only match but elevate the current editing style. This will be project based, 1-2 videos per month.
Key Responsibilities:
* Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a Rough Story Cut for approval.
* Ensure content is edited and presented in a way that enhances viewer retention and engagement, with a keen sense of pacing and timing.
* After initial approval, incorporate a variety of editing techniques, including motion graphics, to create dynamic and engaging content.
* Collaborate closely with Kize to put together a shared vision and enhance storytelling elements.
* Provide creative input on content planning and post-production processes.

Requirements:
* Required to edit in Adobe Premiere Pro. Indicated if you know After Effects as well!
* We will be using FrameIO for feedback, you must be attentive to detail and willing to learn Kize’s style while also providing creative input!
* Strong understanding of retention editing principles, with the ability to make rapid, intuitive decisions about when a cut is too slow or just right.
* Inspired by the editing styles of creators such as Ryan Trahan, Running Man, and Michelle Khare. Links to their channels or specific video examples would be beneficial.
* Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on creating story-worthy content that resonates with our audience.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
If you are able to do all the motion graphics, the quote is $1,000 per long-form video edited.
