Our E-commerce Company is Hiring!
We are seeking a part-time Customer Support Representative to join our team, someone with a robust understanding of Shopify and drop shipping business models. Your role will be critical in ensuring our customers receive exemplary support regarding their concerns about our products and shipments.
What does a Customer Support Representative do?
A Customer Support Representative is tasked with interacting with customers on behalf of the company. Your duties include responding to customer emails, assisting with orders and returns, gathering feedback to improve procedures and shipping methods, and maintaining detailed knowledge of company products or services to effectively assist customers.
Responsibilities and Duties
– Ensure customers are content with products or services.
– Inform customers about additional offerings.
– Determine the most efficient methods to resolve customer inquiries.
– Effectively escalate disputes and concerns.
– Troubleshoot prevalent issues with products or shipments.
Qualifications and Skills
– Service-oriented. You are genuinely interested in and enjoy serving people.
– Technically adept. Proficient with Shopify and email ticketing systems.
– Problem-solving skills. You adeptly navigate challenges and find solutions.
– Multitasking and organizational skills. Capable of handling multiple tools simultaneously and planning effectively.
– Attentiveness and patience. Quick to identify potential issues that could harm the company’s reputation.
– Ability to remain positive. Resilient to negativity and consistently able to see the positive side.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Essential for success in this role.
Customer Support Experience Requirements
Preferably, you have several years of experience in customer support, including experience managing team members within a customer support team. You should know how to organize and structure the department and motivate and elevate your team members.
Salary Expectations
You will start as a Trainee Support Representative, working alongside the company owner for 1- 3 hours per day at a rate of $4/hr.
We begin with a 2-week trial period. Following this, we will evaluate to determine if both parties wish to continue. If affirmative, you will be promoted to Junior Customer Support Representative with an increased compensation of $6/hr.
There is potential for advancement to Management level with increased compensation.
