Project Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY:

A fast-growing US Solar Company is looking for a bright, passionate, professional, able to thrive in a fast paced and results oriented culture. A successful candidate will have a calming and professional presence.

Coordinates and executes the team functions including: sales support, onboarding new projects into SalesForce, submitting permits for projects, submitting utility documents for projects, coordinating site visits, and coordinating subcontractors.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for accurately and timely onboarding of all new customer projects into SalesForce.
• Schedule site visits using online calendar and google maps to ensure visits are scheduled appropriately.
• Ensuring any lender stipulations or other items are completed timely and accurately.
• Manage shade studies and engineering services internally and with external partners.
• Submit for permit and utility approval, be efficient and accurate.
• Oversee sales contract completion and management of adders, especially subcontractors ensuring only approved contractors are used, and the interactions with them are recorded, timely and follow guidelines.
• Ensure cash customers follow payment plans with the deposit and install payments being received prior to work.
• Ensures compliance with all utility and AHJ requirements
• Other duties as assigned.

OPERATING SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business or related field from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with SalesForce.
• Broad knowledge and operational experience in Solar and project management.
• Must possess strong management, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational and customer service principles and practices.
• Computer literacy: Proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Must be willing to work at hands-on, detailed level when needed.
• Demonstrates awareness of variables which could affect employee retention and/or morale.
• Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management skills.

Special Requirements:
• Ability to read reports, computer monitors, and to communicate with coworkers.
• Ability to hear well enough to communicate with clients and coworkers.
• Ability to write, type 40 wpm and use telephone system.
• Repetitive motion (keyboarding and moussing).
• Long periods of sitting or standing.
• On call 24/7, ability to work extended hours and weekends/nights as needed.
• Proficient reading and writing in English.
• Must be able to hear in order to receive telephone calls and voice mail messages.
• Must pass background checks.
