Job requirement:

We’re seeking a permanent Project Coordinator for Permitting & Inspection who wants to grow to his/her full potential with our team and company for years to come. This is open to all types of professionals capable of offering their services in a work-from-home virtual setup. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop close working relationships with AHJs and assemble permit packets with the necessary documents for municipality submission
Fill out appropriate paperwork and gather all the required supplemental info and coordinate responses to AHJ comments with design team
Manage project permit tracking/filing system for individual projects and organize permitting team documents
Assist with HOA permit application, Inspection scheduling, and Main Panel Upgrade (MPU) scheduling
Record/file maintenance through CRM programs, spreadsheets, and calendars

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Must be amenable to work during U.S. business hours
Must be amenable to work exclusively for Solar One
Highly proficient in both written and oral English
Personal computer to be used for work, with a reliable internet connection and in case of loss of power or internet, a backup plan or location that provides power and internet connection within 30 minutes of an outage
Quality noise-cancelling USB headset

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of experience working as Project Coordinator in Solar industry (SunRun, Sunnova, SunPower, etc.) is a plus
Familiarity with all aspects of the solar installation process, including site survey, planning, permitting, procurement, install coordination, and PTO with various utilities
Familiarity with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services, Zoho, etc
