Project coordinator – Window Supply and Installation

We are a growing company which specializes in high-end glazing supply and installation, focused on single family modern homes.

As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing and coordinating high-end glazing projects. Your exceptional communication skills, technical expertise, and attention to detail will ensure the successful execution of projects that meet and exceed our clients’ design requirements.

**Responsibilities:**
– Client Communication:Maintain regular communication with clients through email, phone, and video calls to understand their design preferences and ensure all their requirements are met throughout the project.
– Supplier and Engineering Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and engineers to verify that our solutions align with clients’ specific needs and expectations.
– Shop Drawings Review:*Thoroughly review shop drawings from the drafting department to ensure accurate and precise detailing of glazing systems.
– Change Order Management: Proactively manage client changes and additional requests, capturing and implementing change orders as necessary.
– Supplier Ordering: Initiate and manage product orders with suppliers to ensure timely availability for project implementation.
– Logistics Coordination: Communicate with logistic providers to facilitate smooth and timely shipment of goods from the point of origin to the designated destination.
– Project Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress, identify potential challenges, and implement effective solutions to keep projects on schedule and within specified timelines.
– Quality Assurance: Uphold stringent quality control measures to ensure that all glazing installations meet industry standards and uphold our commitment to providing high-quality service.
– Budget Management: Work within project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation to deliver projects within financial constraints.

**Requirements:**
– Perfect English Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills are essential for maintaining professional and effective communication with clients.
– Technical Acumen: Possess a highly technical and detail-oriented mindset to minimize errors and ensure precise project management.
– Customer Focus: Demonstrate a strong dedication to providing outstanding customer service and delivering high-quality solutions that surpass clients’ expectations.
– Technical Background: Hold a related degree in construction, engineering, or a field relevant to glazing, enabling a quick grasp of window systems and their complexities.
– Experience: Have a proven track record of successful construction or project management experience.
– Time Zone Compatibility: Ability to work on or close to PST (Pacific Standard Time).
– Must be keen to learn about the products we are working with and become a master on the topic.

**Qualifications:**
– A degree in a related field is required to ensure a strong foundation in project management principles and relevant technical knowledge.
– Demonstrated experience in construction or project management, particularly within the glazing industry, will be highly valued.
