Responsible for the accurate measurement and take-offs of landscape/ civil plans, bill of materials listings, for preparation of client proposals, and provision of Administration support to other company departments such as Sales and Purchasing. You will be calculating areas and volumes of materials, creating costing sheets with ideal margin scenarios, and crafting detailed proposals based around standard company templates, for acceptance by civil construction and landscape companies
1) Read and understand plans
Ability to receive and analyse landscape and civil plans, in PDF and/or CAD format, metric and imperial, and thoroughly review
2) Learn and apply technical understanding of products
Gain understanding of the correct applications for Citygreen range of products, and interface with infrastructure
3) Perform take-off and create Bill of Materials (BOM)
Use Rhino and other software as appropriate, to accurately measure plans for all required Citygreen products, and provide detailed BOM
4) Liaise with Design, Projects, and Sales Teams
Function as part of Design Studio, in support of Sales, Client Relations, and Project Delivery teams
5) Estimate labour and materials as needed
Estimate labour and other materials using industry available rates, in support of Citygreen Projects Team
6) Provide drafting support
Using CAD drafting software, provide design support for the Design Studio, as directed by Head of Design

Ability to understand, or acquire knowledge of, the technical requirements of the company product and service offering
Proficient in use of AutoCAD software, Rhino (preferably), Excel, estimating programs
